Coming from nature and returning back to nature

1) Bio-based
PLA shows the lower carbon emission. The unit weight of carbon emission of PLA only equals to PET 26% PP 32%.

2) Recyclable
Lactide (intermediate) can be recycled through catalytic reaction and reach a high recovery rate of 98.5%.

3) Degradable
By composting, PLA can be 100% biodegraded within 180 days under composting condition with final outcome of H2O+CO2.

4) Food-contact safety
The monomer of PLA is lactic acid, which is a commonly used food additive in food, wine-making and pharmaceuticals industry.

All the performances of PLA are comparable to traditional PP/PET.

Landfill

Generally, it takes 2~5 years for PLA to degrade in landfill. The final outcome causes no pollution to the underground water, brings no harm to the growth of plant, and wastes no cultivated land.

Incineration

The combustion heat of PLA is low. When sufficiently burned, it only produces H2O and CO2 and causes no pollution to the air.

5.4

Recycle

PLA can be recycled and lactide (PLA intermediate) can be obtained through catalytic reaction.
